Our Mission

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Hobe Sound is part of an international Catholic lay organization whose mission is to help the less fortunate and those in need by providing goods and services when necessary, without regard to race, religion, or color.

“We are a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships and service to people in need.”More about us »

Our Role

In the U.S. alone, almost 100,000 SVdP trained volunteers provide about 18 million hours of volunteer service helping almost 24 million people.

As part of the Martin County South Conference, our Hobe Sound numbers are small in comparison, but our mission is no less important. We hope you will support us and those we serve.
